For the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on 1 November 2025, the three Great Pyramids became the focus of a large-scale laser production delivered by KVANT Events Middle East in cooperation with KVANT Show Production.
The project used three groups of KVANT laser systems, each with a clearly defined visual role: creating beams that appeared to rise from the pyramid tips, reinforcing their silhouettes and adding precise laser-mapping details.
Set against one of the world’s most recognisable landmarks, the result brought contemporary laser technology into direct visual dialogue with the monumental geometry of ancient Egypt.
Three pyramids. Three layers of laser technology.
Six Epic 270 W BlueBoost systems created lines of light connecting the Grand Egyptian Museum with the peaks of the three pyramids. Their beams visually bridged the distance between the new museum and the ancient monuments while strengthening the silhouettes of the pyramids.
From the pyramid peaks, the composition continued vertically into the night sky. Three Architect 500 W systems were positioned so that their beams appeared to rise directly from the tips of the pyramids and extend towards the stars.
Ten Clubmax 40 W systems added the third layer through precise laser mapping across the pyramids.
Together, the three groups of laser systems created one continuous visual connection—from the Grand Egyptian Museum to the pyramids, and from the pyramids into the sky above Giza.
